No more CD-R’s losing their life well before their time.

At long last, The Chameleon Dynamic is complete.

This project represents many things. It’s a mini-dedication to Jay Dee, A nod to Herbie Hancock, A dedication to a fallen friend, a “proper” follow up to “Freon”, various emotions that come along with learning that you’re a father, and a simple project I found a way to make hard and then take 4 years to finish. Most importantly, this project represents change. A change of lifestyle, a change of thinking, but yet still aiming for the ending result; quality and goodness in life as well as sound.

The Chameleon Dynamic will be sold for 8 bucks, featuring 15 trks. There’s also a bunch of additional artwork bundled with the complete download, 3 of those made by Mercury Waters.

In finishing up “Dynamic”, I had a little bit of time to upload more music on the bandcamp page. Granted, it’s older music that we’ve all heard before, but I’d still like to have everything that I’ve made on this page. Sound Design, Complex Simplicity, Livid Paradox, and Service Pack 1 even have new cover art.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I said June 30th on Twitter, but I figured it would be a nice weekend gift for those that wanted to listen. Besides, who releases ANYTHING on a Wednesday?

So, on top of Service Pack 2 & Daydreamer Dialogue released this summer, heres some more goodness from yours truly. Check it out, download it if you will, and tell your friends, social workers, facebook “friends”, President Obama, and whoever you may think would give this simple guy a chance. Again and always, I thank you all for listening.

1) Precise Hero and I finished up Daydreamer Dialogue. It’s only $5, and it’s coming out on vinyl later on this summer (I think, don’t hold me to it) overseas.

2) With Daydreamer’s release, I discovered the wonder of Bandcamp. Eventually, I will move all my projects over there for download. Freon is over there now ($7), as well as Service Pack 1. Which moves me to point #3.

3) I’m going to end the sale of physical CD’s. It’s not a money thing (I go through at least 200 CD’s per project just from mastering alone). It’s just too much hassle to get them out to you guys. The post office isn’t exactly close, and as of lately I’ve been having trouble getting the orders AND delivery. So, with the bandcamp page, you’ll be able to get everything there digitally. Besides, It’s moving the digital route anyway. I’d rather prepare for what’s coming. For everyone that has purchased a CD from me, I am eternally thankful.

4) “The Chameleon Dynamic” is just about ready to be rolled out on that new bandcamp page. The links at the top of the page will change eventually to support this new page (ditching the ‘downloads’ and ’store’ pages. Closed the myspace account too, just because.).

I’m shooting for a June 30th date for ‘Dynamic”. Either that, or July 28th. Actually, July 28th would be more realistic and appropriate. You see, I try to release these projects on the birthdates of my loved ones…

I know I tweeted about Beautiful Things being released this summer, but I figure to release in November to celebrate…..

Well, content actually.  It’s been pretty good this summer, even while working non-stop (so it would seem).

So much has passed last few months, and I’ll update you all as to what’s going on.  But let’s deal with the intermediate for right now.

The Chameleon Dynamic is coming along, with maybe 3 more songs to do to call it a wrap.

As it has been (and will continue to be the topic of discussion for at least 3 months), Michael Jackson is gone from this earth.  I’ve got my piece to say about the matter, but Phonte (from Little Brother) spoke on this subject recently and has written the most well thought out essay that I’ve ever read in a while.  It pretty much sums up my thoughts of The King Of Pop, so just run to The LAWN forums and read it.

In other news, Lunchbox has released his mixtape for free download on http://www.weareomniverse.com/. That should hold you guys over for our Epoxy project, which is about 86% complete.

I’m also working with Precise Hero on a short colab called “Daydreamer Dialog”. More news on that as it develops.

I’ve got a new cover for “Chameleon Dynamic” I want to show you all. I’ve got a bunch of freebies that I need to upload. There will be a bunch of things that will be coming on the horizon. I’ve just gotta get my mind organized so that it won’t come out to be a sloppy mess.

So yeah, gotta redesign this website, or rather get someone to redesign the website, or just figure out how to do it myself. Man, Dreamweaver is pretty hard to manipulate.
